On Thurs. Jan. 4th, Wilson High School students participated in the Berks County Science Olympiad competition at Kutztown University. The team is advised by Joe Melograna, Greg Brooks, and Gay Wentzel. The competition included 23 events that challenged students within the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering. Wilson High School’s team finished in 1st place. Many students earned top 3 finishes in their various events. The event was featured in the Reading Eagle on January 5th.

The team will continue to prepare for the regional competition that takes place on March 12th. The regional event will include approximately 25 teams from Berks, Lehigh, Bucks, Northampton and Schuylkill Counties.
