Wilson Students Demonstrate Excellence in TSA

Wilson’s Technology Student Association had a very successful day at the Regional Conference on Saturday (1/27.) This was the first level of competition and first opportunity for students to receive recognition for their ongoing efforts. As a result of the Regional Conference, Wilson has qualified 30 students for the State Conference, which is held at Seven Springs Resort in late April. Wilson’s overall results are attached below; they include 8 first place finishes, 7 second place finishes, and 4 third place finishes.

If you have the chance, please congratulate the students involved, as they are truly deserving of the recognition, and encourage them as they look to continue their work at the State level.

Sindura Sridhar, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Hello! My name is Sindura Sridhar (she/her), and I'm in 11th grade at Wilson High School. I am Co-Editor-in-Chief for Wilson's Paw Print and have had editing positions for the News section. I believe writing to be extremely important for any field of work, and as I have an interest in STEM, I find technical writing especially useful. Additionally, I use writing as a channel through which I can educate and inform community members on injustices facing the world today, something I practice as an active volunteer and founding member of the Youth Volunteer Corps Stand Togetehr Against Racism initiative. Other than community service, I am regional vice president for the Future Business Leaders of America, play violin and piano, run my school's Debate Club, and participate in Science Olympiad and the Technology Student Association.
